IonMed has developed a novel plasma-welding device for closing post-operative incisions. The device uses a cold plasma jet and incorporates a special “active solder” film.
IonMed was founded in 2009 and has had two financing rounds.
The company will obtain the CE mark by mid-2013 and anticipates sales by the end of 2013.
